FSU Game Design Homework 1: First blog entry and software installation

Hi, in this video provided below is an example of myself being able to use video recording software to record my progress in Game Development throughout this year.  I describe in the video that I will be learning how to use C++ and blueprints visual scripting in Unreal Engine 4 to help program our game. Our group, composed of 4 members, Daniel Hoekman, Itiel Agramonte, Michael Uria, and myself, will be using Unreal Engine 4, Gimp, Blender and Audacity to create a game this semester. We all decided to meet up on Sunday, August 30th, and we discussed during our first meeting that since we have so many different tools to utilize in Game Design, it might be best for us to split up the learning of individual tools, and then to later explain to each other an understanding of how to use that tool. I was assigned to focusing on using programming concepts in Unreal Engine 4. Hopefully I will show continuous progress and better understanding of the programming process and overall development in Game Design as I upload more and more videos. Thank you for staying awhile, and listening.
